Q. Im about to leave for Air force Basic any my job will be Security forces. I was told that it would be a good idea to list some ideas for bases that i would like to be stationed at. I was wondering is Elmondorf AFB in Anchorage Alaska a good base? Is there a lot to do there?

If you're more into the nightlife scene, Anchorage is a bit lacking in that area. For a city it's size, it has some of the best food you will find anywhere. Plenty of restaurants that will provide any kind of food that you like.… [cont.]
