Q. Ok, so my final grade 11 visual art project was given to me. I was told that i have complete creative control to do whatever i can and want. I have to clearly identify the canadian identity, but im not sure what i should do. Can anyone give me any suggestions and how that suggestion demonstrates the canadian identity? Canadian beer advertisements are classics for delineating the elusive ideology of the "Canadian Identity". I think this would be fun and interesting for such a project. Or - a more general examination of the advertisements of Canadian industry. Tim Hortons and other corporations of Canada (like those beer companies) yearn to capture the essence of Canada in their marketing campaigns.
